About Dyer Engineering

Dyer Engineering are founder members of the Derwentside Engineering Forum a group of engineering companies employing over 4000 people in Derwentside. Promoting Engineering throughout the region, the Forums efforts have resulted in the intake of engineering apprentices, doubling in the past 2 years. Dyer Engineering strengthen their links with the local community by working with local schools and supporting the Engineering Challenge where young people get the opportunity to put their engineering skills into practice in a friendly but competitive environment. We also sponsor the Drugs Awareness Campaign and the Business Ambassador project where Dyer Employees regularly visit schools to take part in various Business Activities and talk about their individual roles in the engineering industry.
